Welcome to Wizard Way Coaching and Healing
You may feel discouraged, but there is hope, and many alternative ways to help.
With decades of experience in the healing arts, from traditional Western medicine, to shadow work psychology, several traditions of shamanism, and nonviolent communication, I would like to help you experience wholeness and healing.
In my coaching practice, I work with individuals, couples, and groups, in person, over the phone, or online.
How may I help you?
Would you like more ease and happiness in your life?
I can work with you to help you discover what you want and what may be blocking you from getting it.
I welcome you to the chance to get what you want in your life moving forward.
Do you want to feel like you are lovable and that you are worthy and a good person contributing in your life?
We can explore the shadows that may be influencing you in ways you are unaware and provide insights and healing for the issues.
I welcome you to the exploration of your shadows that unconsciously motivate you.
Do you feel blocked, or have a repeating painful pattern of behavior that needs addressing?
I can work with you to help you discover what may be blocking you, and how to heal those blocks.
I welcome you to wholeness, I welcome you to exploration of your wounds and to filling those wounds with light.
About Dr. Genesis S. Young, M.D.
For all of his adult life, Genesis has been learning and practicing healing arts, both traditional and nontraditional, allowing him to help people from multiple perspectives. He is medically trained, pursuing a career as a surgeon for many years, but combining that with extreme awareness and sensitivity to the psychological and healing needs of his patients.
Traditional medicine is helpful, but it’s not the full answer for the most complete healing.
Genesis has been exploring and practicing shamanism for over 30 years. He is a graduate of the three-year program in shamanic studies through the Foundation for Shamanic Studies founded by Michael Harner. He has also trained in Huichol shamanism. With Sandra Ingram he studied Soul Retrieval and Medicine for the Earth. With Betsy Bergstrom he studied Viking shamanism and Depossession, and has worked as well with other teachers over the years.
Genesis’s interests are wide, and he has been training and teaching Nonviolent Communication for about six years, and more recently Restorative Justice. In 2019 he completed the three-year journey to become a certified Shadow Work coach in the Shadow Work organization founded by Cliff Barry.
Genesis was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and lived in many areas of Canada before moving to the United States in midlife. Now, living in Maui, Hawaii is paradise, but as a Canadian he also misses the snow, and tries to find time for snow skiing every winter. His three grandchildren in Oregon make that another paradise destination for connection and community and family relationships.
His wife is also working in the healing arts, practicing Bowen Therapy and offering healing intuitive readings for people. They join together in working with the youth in Maui, bringing Restorative Justice and Nonviolent Communication to the schools and creating a new teen shelter which should open in 2020.
